Jane's Party's 'Live Again Cult" was a multi-phase art project based around a central narrative and supported by several cinematic episodes in the form of social media clips and YouTube video releases. Each episode pushed the narrative forward, culminating in the band's "Live Again" album release performance.

This video kicked it all off! Crafted in the style of an "Ancient Aliens" episode, the trailer sets the scene for the book release.

I made the book jacket design and had it printed. We got a bunch of used hard cover books, and replaced their jackets with our own. Then we took the books around town to various locations (including Indigo bookstore) to promote the album release show on social media.
I used a combination of AI engines (Midjourney, Elevenlabs, and Heygen), as well as Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to personify the character responsible for the foreword to the book, the feared and revered Dr. Alkazaar.
Live Again Walk-on Theme
An orchestral composition in the style of some of my favourite epic soundtracks (Lord Of The Rings, Avengers, Star Wars). The piece was played as the walk-on theme for the band at the album release show. The band emerged to from the back of the venue, led to the stage by robed priests, holding up the sacred book. The piece seamlessly transitions into the first song of the set.
